The Artist's Soliloquy

2-B or NOT 2-B
2-B or NOT 2-B

2-B or NOT 2-B... That is the question!

Whether 'tis nobler to use 6-B for softer lines, or 2-B for firmer and more-coherent expression...

An errant swipe... and a smudge... or worse yet, a smear, renders the rendering less clear and hence far-less dear.

So, the thorny dilemma... and succinctly, the question... begs the discernment of the artist's intent.  Having the motive and the means, yet not quite the fully-formed intent, results in statements and lines so-rent... that one cannot interpret their deeper meanings, nor the artist's leanings.

The artist first, and then those who share the view must judge... between the fine thin line or the quavering smudge.

The preceding nattering text constitutes the musings and mutterings of a befuddled artist/writer.

Rob,
Or K-sera, sera. You've changed....you look like me now. Glad to see that you are retired, like I am. I'm married and living in North Carolina, near Raleigh after about 35 years in the Valley of Blistering Heat (Phoenix). Did lots of "stuff" in those 35 years including the design and construction of a home for Irene (my wife) and I, so I got that our of my system.
Nice to see some of your artwork. Write me if you can.
Best regards,
Michael
